He soared to fame for his appearances in the smash hit TV series, Star Trek.
And it was like a fairy tale that he could have held up to his glory, of being an action star in Heroes.
Well, we happen to know many things about Zachary Quinto’s professional life, but alas, we have little knowledge on his personal tidbits.
Fortunately, his latest project has something to tell about his passion.
Yup, that’s right!
Dog Eat Dog, a short film, would translate the actor’s real love for dogs, on-screen.
The story is simple, focusing on the life of a rescue dog and its owner.
Sian Heder, the maker of the much-anticipated short film, hinted that the story would reflect one of the incidents of Zachary’s own life.
Heder revealed that some time ago, when the star tried to bring home a dog from a shelter, an unprecedented suitor stopped him from owning it.
Now that the movie would give him the opportunity to adopt a dog, it would be interesting to see how far he does justice to the character.
Over the years, Zachary has proven that he has that star quality in him, and I am sure most of his fans would love to watch his acts in Heroes via the online mode, in spite of the fact that the sci-fi series has wrapped up its tale long time ago.
Having mentioned that he has the mettle in him to suit any character, the upcoming project might help him to catch the attention of those fans, who know him more as a dog lover.
It’s very rare that an actor gets to play his dream role in his or her entire career. Even if I hadn’t known whether playing the owner of a rescue dog is Zachary’s dream, it would certainly give him the satisfaction that many a star yearns for.
Anyway, before signing off, I would like to end the story that was started by Sian Heder.
Yeah folks, Zachary finally ended up owning a dog in real life, who he has christened Noah!
How cute is that!
