Life

Adrian is the son of Homayoon Pasdar, an Iranian Immigrant and a cardiac surgeon. Adrian’s mother Rosemarie, was born in Germany and worked as a nurse, English teacher and travel agent.
At Marple Newtown Senior High School, in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, Adrian completed his high school studies. He then got a football scholarship to play Linebacker at the University of Florida.
During his freshman year, he was seriously injured in a car accident and it took a long time for his life to come back on the track.

Career

Adrian took a job at People’s Light and Theatre Group as he was no longer able to play football and therefore he dropped out of school and came back home. Later, he attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York, for which he paid from the medical compensation that he got after meeting a painful accident on work.

In Dixie Chicks video of the song Goodbye Earl, Adrian played the bit part of a police officer. In 2000, the music video won two awards, Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association’s Video of the Year Awards.

Adrian auditioned for a role in Top Gun at the age of 19. He managed to impress the director, Tony Scott so much that he wrote the part of “Chippers” especially for him. Later on he got opportunities to move to bigger roles in Solarbabies (1986), Streets of Gold (1986) and Near Dark (1987). In 1992, Adrian starred as Gerald Tilson/Geraldine in Just Like a Woman which proved to be the most important milestone in his life.

Adrian also made appearances in Made In USA (1987), Cookie (1989), Vital Signs (1990), Torn Apart (1990), The Killing Box as Captain John Harling in 1993, as Eddie in the Last Good Time (1994), as Jim Profit in Profit and many more.

Adrian also wrote and directed a short film, Beyond Belief and later on he directed his first film the art-house neo-noir Cement, in 1999.


Heroes

Adrian portrayed the role of Nathan Petrelli in the famous television series Heroes. Nathan had the special ability to fly.

Personal Life

Adrian got married to Natalie Maines in June 2000, in Las Vegas. Adrian has a tattoo of an anchor on his arm with the name of his children written on it. Adrian also plays guitar for a charity rock band named as Band From TV.
